HYDROSTATIC TEST

{short description of image}   Hydrostatic test is done by using the high pressure pump to pressurize the pressure vessel that requires a pressure test. The system utilizes a special valve that allows the flow of high pressure liquid to move only to one direction, to the test vessel until the vessel reach the desired pressure. When big vessels are used, a large amount of liquid is required to fill them. The centrifugal pump that provides high flow of liquid at a relatively low pressure fills the vessel. When the vessel is filled the high pressure pump generates a low flow under high pressure to pressurize the vessel. The control valve is either automatically operated or manually. When an automatic control valve is operated, a pressure sensor will detect the pre set pressure and then hold the pressure to a pre progrmed time, then release the pressure and drain the liquid.
